On November 9th, 2018 an article done by the Washington Post was posted to their website. The Washington Post depicts Donald Trump targeting three African American news reporters. A woman named Abby Phillip was told by the President that they are, “stupid,” “a loser,” and her question was considered “racist.” She is a CNN porter who asked if Robert Muller III is a probe. Trump replied “what a stupid question that is.” He never answered the question and went later on to say, “I watch you a lot and you ask a lot of stupid questions.” Another reporter named April Ryan, who works for Urban Radio Networks, was told by Trump, “she’s doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing.” He said this to Ryan two days after saying, “sit down I wasn’t talking to you.” He continues to disrespect these women and not allowing them to speak or report on the news. Instead he is interrupting their reporting. He is demeaning what their work is and calling them racist for no true reason except wanting to judge. Trump has attacked colored people many times and he makes it seem okay for others to do it. This is a bad precedent for the United States and it must be fixed. There must be a change now to not have actions like his occur commonly.
