We are a group of 4 students who attend a prestige high school in Pennsylvania. We wish to assist on opening the minds of others interested in the salvation from marginalization. Marginalization is a very complex idea, for it is defined in many ways (some more confusing than others). The definition, in a broad sense, is the treatment of a person, group, or concept as insignificant or peripheral. Groups such as the LGBTQ, minorities, people with disabilities, and even political groups all face marginalization. We wish to write about these different groups and explain how marginalization affects them. We hope you decide to hear us out and not marginalize us.
